Rico graduated from Stanford Law School, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of Stanford Law & Policy Review and Managing Editor of Stanford Environmental Law Journal. He returned to Appellate Advocates in September 2022 after interning at the organization the previous summer. He previously interned at New York Legal Assistance Group – Special Litigation Unit. While in law school, Rico participated in Stanford’s Criminal Defense Clinic and Three Strikes Project. He holds a B.A. in History from the University of Chicago.
