Ava C. Page graduated cum laude from Brooklyn Law School, where she represented low-income clients charged with crimes in the Capital Defender and Federal Habeas Clinic. While in law school, she was an Edward V. Sparer Public Interest Fellow and interned with Brooklyn Defender Services, The Legal Aid Society, Orleans Public Defenders, and The Federal Defenders of New York.  Prior to law school, she worked to reform sentencing laws at Families Against Mandatory Minimums. She holds a B.A. in Gender Studies and Law from American University, where she graduated magna cum laude.

Before joining Appellate Advocates, Ava was a trial attorney at Brooklyn Defender Services, where she defended indigent men and women in criminal cases.
