Ira Berkley is a graduate of New York University School of Law, where he was a Root-Tilden-Kern Public Interest Scholar and student attorney in the Federal Defender Clinic. During law school, he interned with The Civil Liberties Defense Center and Center for Constitutional Rights. Following law school, Ira worked as a trial public defender in the Criminal Defense Practice at the Legal Aid Society.
