Jessica Brierly-Snowden is a Staff Attorney in the Domestic Violence Survivors Justice Act (DVSJA) Practice. Prior to joining Appellate Advocates, she worked as a trial attorney at Brooklyn Defender Services, the Neighborhood Defender Service of Harlem, and the Cook County Public Defender.
Jessica graduated cum laude from Indiana University’s Maurer School of Law in Bloomington, IN. She holds a B.A. in Political Science and English from the University of Michigan where she graduated with high honors. While at Michigan, Jessica facilitated art workshops at correctional facilities through the Prison Creative Arts Project and was a member of The Sisters Within theater troupe.
