Caitlyn B. Carpenter graduated from Columbia Law School with the Ruth Bader Ginsburg Prize and the Jane Marks Murphy Prize. While in law school, she participated in the Child Advocacy Clinic, representing a young father involved in the welfare system, and was the pro-bono coordinator for the Columbia Human Rights Law Review.
Prior to joining Appellate Advocates, Caitlyn worked as a Skadden Fellow and then Staff Attorney at the Neighborhood Defender Service of Harlem on the Family Defense Team. She holds a B.A. in political science from Northwestern University, where she graduated summa cum laude.
