Jillian Fantuzzi is a Staff Attorney in the Direct Appeals Practice. She graduated from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where she was a Public Service Scholar and student attorney with the Perlmutter Center for Legal Justice, achieving her first exoneration and receiving recognition as a “Champion of Change.” During law school, Jillian worked as clinical student with the Forensic Science Freedom Clinic as well as an intern for a private criminal defense attorney in Manhattan. As a Staff Editor for the Cardozo International and Comparative Law Review Journal, Jillian published a student note on the rising threat of “democide” in the United States due to judicial acquiescence to police violence. Prior to law school, Jillian received her Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Psychology at the University of Florida.
