Elizabeth Haris is a Staff Attorney in the Domestic Violence Survivors Justice Act (DVSJA) Practice. Prior to joining Appellate Advocates, she worked with DePaul Law’s Asylum & Immigration Law Clinic, Legal Aid Chicago, and the Children’s Legal Center, where she provided legal support across immigration, juvenile, and criminal defense contexts.
Elizabeth graduated with a dual J.D./LL.M. in International Law from DePaul University College of Law in Chicago, IL. During law school, she engaged in legislative advocacy focused on parole reform in collaboration with incarcerated individuals through the Inside-Out Think Tank at Stateville Correctional Center.
She holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
