Emma Hochfelder received her Masters of Social Work from Hunter College’s Silberman School of Social Work with a concentration in community organizing and policy. Prior to joining Appellate Advocates, Emma was a mitigation specialist at The Osborne Association’s Second Look Project, where she focused on release advocacy and holistic defense for women detained on Rikers Island. She also completed internships at Releasing Aging People in Prison (RAPP) and Breaking Ground. Emma holds a B.A. from Sarah Lawrence College.
