Steven joined Appellate Advocates in 2022. Before that, he worked as a staff attorney with the Legal Aid Society’s Criminal Defense Practice in Brooklyn for eight and a half years. While in law school, he represented indigent clients as a student attorney through John Jay Legal Services Criminal Defense Clinic in Bronx County. Steven earned a J.D. from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University where he graduated cum laude. Before law school, he earned a B.A. in History and Political Science from Rutgers University-Newark where he graduated summa cum laude.
