Michael Arthus graduated cum laude from Harvard Law School, where he served as Notes Editor of the Harvard Law Review and Managing Editor of the Harvard Journal of Racial and Ethnic Justice. He also represented indigent criminal defendants at trial through the Criminal Justice Institute. He holds a B.A. in International Relations and Spanish from New York University, where he graduated summa cum laude.
Prior to joining Appellate Advocates, Mike worked as a trial attorney at Brooklyn Defender Services. He has published articles on topics including poverty-based incarceration, juvenile sentencing schemes, and constitutional equal protection.
