Zachory Nowosadzki is a staff attorney in the SORA Unit at Appellate Advocates. Prior to joining Appellate Advocates, he was a staff attorney in the Parole Revocation Defense Unit at the Legal Aid Society, where he represented New Yorkers on parole who were accused of parole violations. He completed undergraduate studies at New York University, and is a graduate of the City University of New York (“CUNY”) School of Law. During law school, he interned at the Legal Aid Society’s Criminal Appeals Bureau, the New Jersey Office of the Public Defender, and the Parole Preparation Project, and participated in the CUNY Defenders Clinic, where he represented individuals serving life sentences in New York in parole and clemency proceedings. He served on the 2019-2020 Editorial Board for the CUNY Law Review.
