Patty C. Walton is a graduate of Vanderbilt University Law School. While there, she participated in the Youth Opportunity Clinic, with a focus on disrupting the school-to-prison pipeline and representing clients in re-entry court. During her summers she worked for the Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota and the Immigration Law Project at Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid Society.
She holds a B.A. in Political Science and Latin American Studies from Vassar College. Prior to law school she worked as a preschool teacher.
