Madeline Porta joined Appellate Advocates in 2022 as a Domestic Violence Staff Attorney. Before attending law school, Madeline worked with survivors of violence, including LGBTQ+ survivors, for nearly 10 years. As an attorney, Madeline worked as a public defender in New York and on bail reform efforts in Arkansas and Louisiana. Madeline earned a J.D. from CUNY School of Law and a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Arkansas.
