Tim is a Distinguished Graduate of the United States Air Force Academy. He separated from the Air Force after six years of active-duty service and attended law school at the University of Washington in Seattle. While in law school, Tim worked for the Federal Public Defender for the Western District of Washington, the Washington Appellate Project, and his school’s tribal law public defense clinic at the Tulalip Tribes.
Prior to joining Appellate Advocates as a staff attorney in 2026, Tim was an Assistant Public Defender in Albany, New York. There, he was privileged to represent clients at all stages of their criminal cases, SORA hearings, and violation of probation proceedings.
