Megan graduated from Binghamton University, where she holds a B.A. with a double major in Philosophy, Politics and Law, English and Creative Writing, and a minor in Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies. Before joining Appellate Advocates, Megan worked as a paralegal on the State Central Registry Advocacy Project at Brooklyn Defender Services. In this role, she helped parents and caretakers appeal their indicated reports on the SCR by directly representing clients in administrative hearings. Megan has also worked as a litigation paralegal for a criminal defense and appellate law firm in Downtown Brooklyn and interned at the Broome County Public Defender’s Office.
