SORA Modification Petition Granted to Level 1
Our client had been adjudicated a Level 2 in 2019. Appellate Advocates filed a modification petition to reduce the risk level, based upon our client’s full compliance with SORA and federal supervision, his gainful employment, his family ties, and the low-risk prognosis given by his treating therapist. With the consent of the prosecution, the petition was granted and the risk level was lowered to Level 1.
