Beth Calcaterra joined Appellate Advocates as a staff attorney in 2022. She previously represented clients in the full range of criminal proceedings as a staff attorney at The Legal Aid Society in Brooklyn for fifteen years. Beth also represented children in family court proceedings with The Legal Aid Society’s Juvenile Rights Practice and as a Skadden fellow at KidsVoice in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She earned a B.A. in political science from the University of Michigan and a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School, where she was on the staff of the Michigan Journal of Race and Law.
