Sarah Cohen graduated cum laude from Harvard Law School, where she was a student attorney with Harvard Defenders, the Harvard Prison Legal Assistance Project, and the Criminal Justice Institute. While in law school, she interned with the Louisiana Capital Assistance Center and The Bronx Defenders. She holds a B.A. in Philosophy from Vassar College.
Prior to joining Appellate Advocates, Sarah worked as a trial attorney at the Defender Association of Philadelphia. She also clerked for the Honorable Martha Vázquez in the District of New Mexico.
