Non-citizen Practice Succeeds in Avoiding Deportation Based on a 30-Year-Old Conviction
Our client, a 60-year-old grandmother and caretaker, was placed in deportation proceedings due to a 1991 drug conviction. Due to our efforts, she will now be able to argue that deportation proceedings should be terminated and can apply for lawful permanent resident status.
